if i go wth a air intake and 2.5 down pipe no cat and 3in exhaust would i get less boos creep with a 16 or 18g? what re things i could do to lessen the creep new 02 housing? new 2g manifold? also do evo manifolds bolt up with mitsu turbos or do you stilll need an install kit as you would with the 2g manifold?

First of all, I don't think you'll have problems with boost creep from what you have said. At least, that's my opinion. Not everyone gets it, I didn't.

A new o2 housing would help, a ported 2g housing is probably your best value-for-the-money option. A ported 2g manifold will flow better, but won't do much for boost creep. Evo III manifolds and o2 housings bolt right up to mitsu turbos, the same as 2g manifolds. The evo III stuff flows better too.

I disagree witht he mani not doing anything. I was having a bad creep problem. Tried porting the o2 housing, still had just as much creep. I bought carbide bits and ported the shit out of he o2 housing - still had creep. I ported the manifold and got rid of that step thing - rock solid boost.

How, I have no idea because I always thought like herostar does. As a matter of fact, I thought it would increase the creep. but it got rid of my creep problem.

When I had the 14b. 2G mas and full 3' exhaust I don't have a boost creep problem at all.

Guess i'm one of the few lucky ones.

the 2g mnaioflds dont bolt right up to the mitsu turbos you need an install kit do i need one for the evo as well.

 Yes they do...

That's an EVO mani + o2 housing in there. You can even fit the heat shields over them. The picture is of the motor in my 1st Talon.

Anyway... If creep is your major concern, get the 16G fitted with the larger waste gate flapper.

Can I ask you a question though? How much boost do you plan to run? 15-17psi? Why would you want/need a 3" exhaust at all? 2.5 should be fine. I ran an unported 2G manifold and 02 housing (they bolted right up), full 2.5 exhaust with the small (unmodded) 16G in my old GSX and never once had any creep issues.

at first im planning on running 15 then im goona step wit up to 20 wtih a 255lph pump and 550 injectors. this isnt my daily driven car so i want to pushing a good amount of power. and for the money id rather spend a little bit more and get 3inch
