when my car is idling, sometimes the PCV valve ticks, if i pinch the vacume line that goes to it the ticking goes away, both the old valve and the brand new one do the same thing...i have cams so my idle is a little lumpy but before i did the new motor i had the cams and the valve never did that....anyone?

Its absolutly normal. instead of the idle vaccum being smooth,so you dont notice it, the cams make the vaccum signal more erradic,so you hear it now. i have webcams and my valve does it too. all's ok.

its because the vaccum signal is erratic now,now dead smooth like with stock cams..I work at Kayser Mitsubishi in wisconsin, and thats what the top mitsu tech told me,and he knows his shit.:thumb:
