One of my friends works at a junkyard. He called me the other day tellin me about a 2g eclipse that just came in. The question is with a 2g fuel pump rewired and 550 injectors how much can I boost to? The reason I ask is because I read somewhere that the 2g fuel pump flows more than the 1g.

(p.s. im also getting the ex. manifold, throtle body elbow, and MAF):thumb:

with 550's you're going to need an afc or some fuel controller because the ecu cant' compensate for the bigger injectors. You could run about 16-17 psi with that setup, add a 3kgt fuel pump (190lph) or similar and you can run 23psi all day long

Yup, I also read somewhere that the 2g rewired flows around 20 - 30 lph more than the 1g. I have the 2g pump but never got around installing it since I got a 3kVR4 pump for free and that one pumps 180 lph. I feel safer that way.

Maybe you guys can help me, theres a guy locally with a 2g Walbro 190 pump, can I make this work for my 1g?
