General [Resolved] 1G EPROM ECU?

Are the 1g eprom ecu's interchangable with any 1g DSM or do I need one from a certain year for my 92

90s are different

You can make a 91-94 work on a 90. I did it. Swap 2 wires. Your tach gets a little goofy though..

The 2 wires you swap are in the VFAQ. It's pretty straight forward. But it does do some weird stuff. The filtering for the tach is different in the cluster, so you'll need something else to tell your RPM at WOT. I put the AFC in my line of sight for right now.

The only advantage to an EPROM ECU is being able to chip it for a TMO. That's it. It offers nothing else worth while.
