Ok everyone in 1st gear ill take off and then ill punch it WOT, from 2,000 then at 3,000-5,000 there is a popping sound from the exhaust and there is no power, its almost like it hesitating!! i have no idea what it is!! please lemme know what u think!! here are my mods!


Injen intake, all free mods, apexi safc, hardwire fuel pump, 3 inch turbo back exhuast no cats,fmic,clutch masters clutch and that about it!! thanx erveryone!!

Popping sound from exhaust at the rpm's your talking about means you are too rich and overloading on fuel. Time for that AFC or AFPR.

Sounds like your SAFC isn't tuned right. Did you follow the instructions on RRE's site? Popping can be rich or lean--it kind of depends. What are your O2's and EGT's doing when this popping occurs? Have you checked plugs and wires? How much boost are you running? Have you upgraded your fuel system yet?

Try changing your fuel filter or just cleaning it. Straight from Extrememotorsports.com, just changing your fuel filter cures all sorts of DSM problems. Just my .02c.

Detonation and timing being pulled. Your car is more than likely either running horribly rich or too lean. What are your O2's at WOT and what are your EGT readings?
