I'm trying to install a MKIV supra i/c on my 98 gsx. The i/c went on fine and fits inside the bumper nicely. But i am having serious problems figuring out a way to attach my piping. I did not get the original elbows with the i/c and I don't want to spend $120 for silicone ones. I have tried every automotive, farm equip, semitruck repair place in town... no one has the piping. Does anyone know of a place to get the 2.5" 90' and 45' elbows? Or, of a nifty trick to hooking it all up?

I just went to a couple auto parts stores looking for 2.5" radiator hose. Just ask to go in the back and look at the hoses, find one that has a nice 90 degree bend in it and it will work perfectly. I just cut up one hose and made the 90 degree outlet to the IC plus all the couplers I needed for the rest of my plumbing, plus radiator hose seals tighter on 2.5" piping than any silicon hose.

Just my .02
Hope it helps

Lucky you aves. I went to the following stores in hopes of finding a radiator hose or flexpipe that would fit. Autozone, O'Rileys, NAPA, Carquest, BOMGars, Larson International, John Deer. I walked through the back with a tape measure and the biggest I could find was around 2" ID. It's all ok now though, I found a local supra guy who happend to have his old elbow's laying around.

Let me know if you feel a big difference with the MKIV Intercooler or not, I'm getting one within a week or so, and would like to know if I'm expecting big gains or not.

Thanx
