I am trying to weigh the benefits vs costs of changing my 1g turbo pistons to 2 g turbo pistons. Here is my question.

How much HP will I gain by from the compression bump ?

What octane do 2g's require ?

Don't know about the hp increase, but it will make your turbo more responsive and less laggy. Use Premium gas, you should use that even with the stock compression especially when you are playing with the boost.
