I taped the end of the rail 3/8ths and put in brass fittings. I just painted them so they dont stick out so bad. Put a 90deg and 5/16th barbed fitting to a T fitting for a 0-100 fuel pressure gauge, then 5/16ths into my SARD adjustable fuel pressure regulator, then back out to the stock 1/4 fuel line.

The FPR was the most expensive piece, all the fittings were less than $15 and I have done so many nitrous kits that taping aluminum is a piece of cake. You don't even have to drill out the rail, the 3/8ths tap just goes right through it like butter.

I did this instead of going through all the super expensive Earls or Russel AN fittings and line. I pressure tested this to 80psi by loading up the fuel (only temporarly to make sure it's all good) and it holds up no problem. The line is 300psi burst so I'm sure it will take all the pressure my 255lph can throw at it.

Just thought I would share a little cheaper way of doing the same thing.

Working right now with a T3/T4 50trim (.63 A/R stage 3) on a ported Turbonetics manifold (both manifold and turbo exhaust housing are ceramic coated), Spearco 2-216 fmic, NX, Tial 35mil, MSD DIS2, 660cc safc and walbro 255 running 20psi on pump. I have all the standard 3" exhaust, I made all my own intercooler pipes with Greddy BOV, full suspension, HKS EVC, welded center diff and ACT clutch.

I also put the bird on a diet. I put on a CF hood, pulled my re-bars, scraped off all the rubber crap under the carpet and launched just about every part of the car that adds weight. About 220lbs in total and I'm not done yet.

Hopefully with that setup it will run pretty fast this year. I don't mind spending money on good parts, however I hate to spend it on a bunch of fittings when I can do it so much cheaper. Once the strut bar is installed you can't even see the damn rail anyway. I went out of my way to photograph those so people could see but normally it's all tucked away so you just see the gauge and the AFPR that's all.

From our local auto parts store. They are fuel line clamps. Just like T clamps guys use to stop pipe blow offs but they are much smaller.

They dont rip into the rubber like regular worm clamps do and you can tighten them down a lot harder than worm clamps. I like to use them on fuel just to make sure I dont end up with problems...
