I have just ordered the Buschur UICP, and they say that it is a great pipe and it will not blow off!! Which is great because the one I have on now will not stay on. It says that it does not come with clamps. What clamps do you guys reccomend and where is the best place to pick them up at. Thank you very much. I live is Salt Lake City...FYI. I was also wondering I just have a ported 14B and is it supposed to make a loud spooling up sound, or could this be just because the welds that someone did for me are leaking!! Is that going to cause a huge lose in power..I am sure it does, I just wanted your opinions. Thank you very much.

Hey, I'm up in Clearfield! :)

Anyhow, yeah, my 14B spools up pretty darn noticeably. I know where you are coming from though... sometimes I find myself wondering "Is this supposed to sound like this?" all the time. Latest noise? Cracked manifold (I think). Definitely not supposed to sound like that!

BTW, in addition to my current (very basic) setup, I'll be adding these toys in the next month or so. Gotta keep the V8s on their toes!

- 2G manifold (ported)
- Evo 02 sensor housing (p&p)
- Buschur UICP
- intake pipe (undecided brand)
- ACT 2600 clutch
- Test pipe (currently have full 3" exhaust w/ cat welded in)
- EGT, boost (different brand), A/F meter gauges
- Pocketlogger
- Maybe S-AFC

Not sure what you have done, but if you are considering any of these mods and wanna see what they've done for my DSM, shoot me an email. I'd be more than happy to meet up with you sometime.

BTW, are there any places in and around SLC that do decent work on DSMs that you know of? I'm gonna do most of the work myself, but there just ain't enough hours in my day to do another clutch install!

The Buschur UIC pipe is pretty nice....anodized finish, flows well, now if I could just afford a nice supra IC....anyway, here is a pic of it in my dirty ass engine bay;)

I had one with my old setup, I just used the old clamps from the stock uicp. it comes with a 2nd gen t-body elbow. The polishing looks very good. I cant quote performance, because I did an intake pipe, down pipe boost controller and catback all at the same time. its a very HI quality piece.
