What are the disadvantages of this setup?I already have a 14b on my 98 gsx.I like low end more than top end and I'd sacrifice top end flow for quicker spool. What turbo's put out the most at low RPM's?I can do the math but nothing beats experience. Thanks for any help

That combination is fine. The difference in spool between the 6cm (stock 14B) housing and a 7cm housing is going to be minimal. If it's cheaper for you to use the 6cm housing, then go for it. If you bought the turbo and it has the 7cm housing on there already, don't trade them out. A 16g isn't a large enough turbo to really worry about spool up time.
