That can happen with any spark plug wire. I even did it to a magnecore. Just have to be careful and possibly use some dielectric grease in the boot....BTW, I prefer NGK wires, (and plugs for that matter) as good as magnecore, and half the price

Man that would piss me off, i have never seen that happen berore. I would say go with ngks, for 40-50 bucks u cant beat them. The only thing i dont like about them is they are blue.

the bosched ripped in half on me twice. i was planing on sanding and polishing my valve cover and i went to remove the plug wires so i could get it off. as soon as i pulled, they ripped. so i thought no big deal ill bring them back and they'll replace them. so i put them on and hawled ass to work. the next day went to take them off, and i was being extremely carefull, and sure enough, they ripped out. so i went ahead and pulled the valve cover off and continue to polish it up pretty nice. i figured id get a ride to autozone to get an exchange on the bosches later. so with my luck when i went to put the vavle cover on i over torqued one of the bolts and cracked the cover. SHIT!!!!! when i went into autozone to replace the piece of shit bosches i practicly threw the bosches at the guy at the counter and told him i wanted a new pair and that i was in a ####ing rush!

so now i need to take off my valve cover to JB weld it, and i know that as soon as i take the plugs out they are gonna break.

so everytime i want to take my plug wires out, i have to get a new pair.
how many times are the idiot assholes at autozone gonna let me replace these piece of shit bosches!!!!!?

talk about PISSED OFF!
i know hate my new car witch i have had for 1 week.
( LOL, well i dont hate it)

i had nothing but bad luck with accel wires. i switched to msd's and i love them they seal great and are good looking and great working. highly recomend them

I have never had any problem with my plug wires ripping apart on me, Magnecors or the Accels. I have heard way to many people complain about the MSD wires arcing out and the same goes for the Magnecors. That is why I switched out my Magnecors for Accels.

it puts emphasis on why i am posting about the peice of shit plug wires.

you aren't even posting about plugs, you are posting about wires.

btw what did you "torque" your valve cover to? the specs are 2-3 ft lbs, barely hand tight.

those are socket extension with the socket on the end values of torque. I don't even use the ratchet, expecially not a 2 ft long torque wrench.

I had the SAME damn problem.. im on my 2nd set of wires.. oh well they got a life time garentee on them so every time I have to take them out i just go ahead and get ready to go to auto zone...:(

I've been running the Magnecore 10mm race wires and Denso Iridium IK20's and no problems. So I would recommend.
