hey had a question or two. first off does anybody know if NPR intercoolers have Good to OK cores??? 2ndly one final time for me , does the Starion Intercooler "SUCK" THAT bad??? cuz i have a 16g and i need to know cuz im getting mad heat soak with my crap sidemount. plus im tight for cash right now. thanks:talon:

if you're strapped for cash I'd advise the supra sidemount. If you've got the small version of the 16G, than the supra unit will handle all you can throw at it. If you've got a big 16G, than you may see some heat soak now and then. I've been told that its a lot better than the starion front mounts, but I know very little about the NPR.

The NPR is great....far better than a starion, much smaller pressure drop too, also has aluminum endtanks........no plastic junk.

I painted mine black:

I personally have a fuso 16 row on my 89 supra turbo it flows better then my stocker, for free its good.On my laser i got a starion with big ass endtanks welded on,2 1/2 inch inlet and outlet. The starion is good if you get new end tanks welded on with 2 1/2 inch inlets.I personally know they are good with this setup because im going 11.7s on one,and alot of my friends that are running them in there turbo volkswagons rabbits going 11.7s-10.7s .The one going 11.7s now is volkswagon of the year.
