Xylene + Pump gas = safe?

can I go buy some Xylene from Home Depot and pour some in and mix it with pump gas to raise the octane?

how much should I put in when filling up and is there certain type of Xylene that I should use?

Will using Xylene affect anything.. like the motor or fuel system?

search for toulene or xylene. all the formulas will be there as well as the rumors

I have found xylene to be cheaper, purer, and more effective. I usually buy it at Sherwin Williams.

I haven't checked at Home Depot yet. Let me know what you find.

mixing Xylene is OK aslong as u dont go over a 3:1 ratio i believe. As long as u run straight gas after the Xylene mix your o2 sensor will be fine.
