02 to downpipe question

The previous owner of my car decided to weld every exhaust component together so I have just 1 quick question. I need new bolts from the o2 housing to my downpipe and was curious if i should use a certain grade bolt or just go by the local hardware store.

I would grab some oems ones to be safe and to eliminate problems later.

Op try and get the dimensions of the bolt, then maybe find something somewhere else.

OEM ones are studs and nuts wont work inless you are able to get the old studs out of your o2 housing.

Yeah the studs aren't going to work. I just need two bolts and nuts. Neither my O2 or downpipe are threaded for studs.

STM IS having a tax refund sale. If you don't want to wait though why not just go to the hardware store and get the bolts that fit?

The Mitsubishi bolt kit I purchased from Oriely Auto hasn't failed me yet. Dunno if it will help you any.

Grade 10 stainless bolts and nuts. 5$ from the local hardware store. Thats what I did and worked untill I upgraded turbos.

+2, as long as the grade is the same - you'll be ok. For $20 bucks I'd rather grab some ARP's and that would be problem solved forever
