OK, I've been searching for two hours and can't find the answer to this one. I'm looking at upgrading my fuel pump. I keep hearing about supra and vr4 pumps. I know the supra pump flows a lot more than I need. Anyone know what the vr4 pump flows? Also, here is my main question, what year cars do you get the pump out of???? What year supra's and what year vr4's? I'm asking for both as I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't know and it will be nice for future reference. I would like to know what the vr4 pump flows because a fpr isn't quite in the budget right now and I don't want to spend more than I have to. Thanks guys. :talon:

You don't need a FPR at all with the stock VR-4 pump...
You can use any year Vr-4 (91+...) and they are rated a 190lph
Supra pumps are awesome but some would recommend a FPR for them as they flow 260lph from the 93+ turbo models. They are expensive though, and in a lot of cases people either get the 190 or the walbro 255lph...

Thank you, that was the answer I was hoping for. I was looking at 190lph pumps. A friend of mine has a vr4 and he put a supra pump in his so his stock one is just sitting there. Here's to shooting for 12's on parts from the junkyard and home depot ;) Wish me luck :talon:
