ok well im gona be runing the stock turbo untill i can aford to upgread to a 20G good FMIC, get new injectors AFC new pump etc.
BUT untill then i want to get a better IC than the stock SMIC but i dont wana pay more than $250 for it since it's not gona be used for to long (I hope) but the moded SMIC i saw in the parts catalog still seem to small
I guess im looking for a small realy cheap FMIC...
cause i REALY REALY hate heat soak.. I plan to run 15psi street and 16 at the strip.. i know thats not alot compaired to you guys that are runing 22+ but since i dont have the cash to do the whole turbo upgread kinda would seem dump to use larger injectors etc. On the stock turbo..
or would it? would the preformance gains of a AFC and 660cc injectors new fuel pump and a AMFC or whatever there called (the thing that regulates the pressure on the fuel rail) and runing the turbo at higher boost lvl's be worht it
cause i figured on the stock turbo it wasn't much good past 18psi... asumeing it could even hold that for long....
(my turbo has already had to have the seals replaced in it becouse its so damn old... the engine/turbo currently have 175,000 on it and to my knowlage only 1 rebuild of the top end has been done..
