I have my BOV disconnected from my intake up. I just wanted to hear some everyone's thought on this. I would like to know if this is bad for performance or maybe even bad for the moter. I know that it irregulates the engines RPM's but is this bad or it really doesnt matter?

some people say it causes their car to bogg down when shifting and its also said it causes bad gas mileage. Other people have no problems at all. I would go as far to say its "ideal" to leave it connected. But if you MUST have that psssht sound, then rice on! :thumb:

btw, for future reference.... post any further questions like this in the newb section.

My 95 tsi awd would die and idle bad even with a AFC so leave it alone unless you go to a AEM EMS or other ecu replacement

In my vr4 the rpms only go down to a low level when I brake hard, sometimes it stalls, but you just have to keep it above 600rpms. I had no choice to vent (intake pipe) but I dont have any compaints really.
