I building an engine right now and I have about 300 bucks left so if it was you which one would you get. Remeber this is NOT a which one is better question it's more of an opinion question. I'm really not sure if it belongs in this forum but oh well. My mods so far are as follows

Slowboy shortblock 9:1 no balance shaft
stock head w/ ss valves 3 angle valve job
VP fmic
RNR t3/t4 kit (60 trim ts04 stage 3 wheel .63 ar)
550's
walbro 255
SX afpr
afc
2g MAS
3in exhaust
and gauges
I'll also have a logger before the car is running
I think that's it

translator first....then theres an AUX part on the translator to trigger different fuel settings when a wire is activated...so this will help with propane

First of all I'm assuming that when you listed 'afc' that meant an Apex'i Super AFC. That would be fuel control and, therefore, the rest of these responses are somewhat void.
The 2G MAS you are using should be fine for you. The only thing I can see a GM MAS improving is the spool time of your turbo. By the way, have you upgraded the turbo? If not, then the GM MAS would be something you need not think about yet. The GM MAS/translator is a great product. However, I think it is unnecessary until you have either over run your 2G MAS's capacity or have gotten such a big turbo that you will do anything to shorten that spool time.
In my humble opinion, getting the propone injection system would be a better idea for you. It would help you squeeze out every last bit of power from that stocker turbo -- or any other turbo for that matter. Lower intake temps and higher octane can only mean more power and safer boosting. Sounds good to me.

Peace

it looks like he has a rather big turbo already....

"RNR t3/t4 kit (60 trim ts04 stage 3 wheel .63 ar) "

personally I would go the way of the MAFT also even though you have an AFC the MAFT free's up a lot of restriction in the intake, can be used to further tune an already somewhat tuned vehicle and the aux settings would help a lot when it comes time for propane injection.....just my .02

plus there are a few things that the MAFT can let you do that are only availible with the VPC and such...

Originally I was going to get the translator but then I started having 2nd thoughts about it. I was reading some post about it and it seems that some of the first people to get thiers were having a bit of trouble tuning it. My new set up will be a new tuning experience for me and I don't want to make it any more difficult. I know propane will add some more tuning effort but it seems somewhat easier than the translator and you can turn it off for inital tuning. I was also thinking that the propane will give the 550s a little help since I already know they will be to small. One last thing though I was thinking about propane now and the translator a few months down the road after more people have some experiece with them. I know it sounds like I'm leaning toward propane but I'm really up in the air right now. With propane I can tell all the rice boys in town that I've got nawz with a special bottle dog:rolleyes:... but on the other hand with the translator I can tell them I upgaded to corvette parts for more hp  Man that's a tough one to. Well thanks for the info so far

-Already have 2G MAS, AFC, Fuel Pump, FPR, so you really don't need the translator.

-I don't know much about the Propane.

-I was going to say dattalogger, but you say you'll have that.

-Why not get larger injectors, and then sell your 550s on here, and get most of the money back.

Thanx,
DeathBeast

I'll probably do that also but I would like to give them a chance for the break in time and inital tuning. We will see. If any one has any other suggestion I'm open to any thing right now. I'm also considering just saving for a set 272's to put in.
