take it off clean the threads unthread the bolt that holds the cooling ring to the housing. apply lock tight to the threads and attach the cooling ring to the housing. its a good idea to do a filter relocation kit also. its pretty cool and easy to do. i used a huge K/N oil filter and mounted it in the driver side fog cavity. moves the filter away from the hot down pipe area and allows for better cooling of the oil:thumb:

Bump :)

I am wondering if any buddy knows the torque specs for:

-The bolt that connects the oil cooler to the oil cooler return oil line.
-The bolt that connects the oil cooler return line to the oil filter housing.
-The bolt that connects the oil cooler feed line to the oil filter housing.

Is it 31 Ib.-ft., just wanted to make sure. Also, JDMAWD what oil filter relocation kit did you get to relocate the oil filter like that, I think that is cool too.

Thanks a lot,
Bill

Its the universal permacool kit but you will need at least 2 90* elbow's depending on mounting location of the filter. Mine required 4 because of where I mounted the filter.
