Ok my tube header came today. To say the least I am a tad dissapointed. Maybe its just me but the damn runners seem a bit to small. And on top of that the turbo is gonna be a pain to bolt on, gonna have to get some fully threaded studs then cut them and torque on the nuts. The runners are in the way of all of them.

Yea yea its wrapped how was I suppost to know, I've seen many wrapped headers just not on turbo'd vehicles.

But yea here are some pics, I can't find a tape measure but I would say the runners are 1 1/2 inches at best. I am not impressed with how they were mated to the head side flange.

So is it a restriction or am I just paranoid?

how many miles are on it bro?..it does look like heck but who knows, maybe you got a good deal on it and it can be salvaged..are there any braces on it?..

I'm not sure on the mileage it supposively came off a 400 horse mirage with a 4g63 swap.

It does have a brace I might add. I am just concerned about the runner diameter. restriction or no? Someone let me know, if its a bit smaller than it should be i'm selling it.

Funny thing is I was told it was an archer racing header. LOL hmm

It is definately not an Archer! I would just sell it. On our local board we have an engineer that did some research on exhaust manifold design for a turbo and the stock manifold is actually very clever. The 2-3 and 1-4 runners should be the same length and the 1-2 and 3-4 should be seperated (the reason for the seperator in the stock exhaust manifold). Like a tangial T4. It doesn't matter much on a turbo car if it is equal length or not.
