without an FMIC should there be any concern for this car to be not running good and efficient

besides CW what should i look for

and what other supporting mods would i need
egt and (fmic but dunno what i should i go with) recommendations? i dont think i wanna boost no more than 12psi

im still learnin bout boost so bare with me

well if you are not wanting to boost no more then 12psi, i don't think that setup would be worth anything to you. you can get a stock one (probaly for less money) and run 12psi all day long.

although you say now that you only want 12psi, once you get 12, you will want 13, then 14, etc....

if you plan on getting the car. i would suggest an EGT (so many to choose from), fuel pump (walbro hp 255), FMIC. you would also need some kind of datalogger (www.pocketlogger.com).

If you dont know what you are doing with this car. DO not buy it and I mean that. Start with a stock car and learn some more. I can see bad things happening if you buy this car.

thanks for some of the advice i just talked to him

and hes only running 6psi????
no boost controller
and
stock bov

i know i should get a stock one but this is what route i wanna go with identical setup i dreamed of.

i only want 12psi as soon as i get it so i can learn more as i go theres alot of peeps i know that have 4g63, but they aint online right now just need to get some more advice quick

thanks guys

WOAH there buddy.

2g GS-T's and GSX's have the 4G63 motors in them. Only the RS and GS have the 420A. The GS Spyder has a 2.4 l not sure on engine code.

but in the post he says that it has a xtreme manual boost controler and a greedy bov i think someone is full of itand if u had that kinda setup would u only be running 6psi boost i know i sure as hell would not be but these post is confuing please be more clear does it does it not have those things

sorry if i post wasnt clear. my post #4
should of said that

he gave me an updated list of his mods that are still in the car:
the boost controller is not on the car and the greddy bov is not in the car as well

so right now

no boost controller and no greddy bov

only stock bov
and he is only running 6psi he originally had a fmic but sold it and has been running without an fmic for about 6,000 miles

what should i be worried about?

does it have an intercooler at all?

seriously don't buy a previously modded car like that, it's only problems. buddy is getting rid of that car because of problems that's why he is selling it.. That is always the way.

Do yourself a fav and buy a bone stock car and with the money you save mod it yourself. That way you know what your getting. Don't let all the parts on there get you to thinkin your gonna save money because its already there etc etc... It will end up costing a lot more because your fixing problems with the motor because it has been abused.

Been there done that, got the t-shirt. It says "you just got f##ked... thanks for your money"

Sorry man, but hopefully you will find what you are looking for. I would get something stock and do it yourself, then you no the car hasnt been tampered with, and you know EVERYTHing thats going on.

If the car sounds to good to be true, chances are that it is just that. One thing to check for is Crank Walk on the 2G. Another thing to consider is the pride of building your own car. Yes it will cost more, but you know it was done right, and you learn how to do it yourself. If the car was in great mechanical condition, and the body was good, then this car would be a steal. But for 7k something doesnt seem right, because that is about bluebook for a stock car.
