im not too worried about cracking becuase the warrenty like you said, and also its made from massive 6guage SS and tig welded....

i just want to make sure the wastegate is placed in a good spot (in the collector) rather then one runner like some other manifolds so theres good boost control.

i just cant see why no pics have been posted anywhere on the net yet..only takes a few minutes to take a pic and upload it:confused:

I ordered mine last week. I asked for pics to but I didn't get any so I ordered any way. I hope it's nice. They have a pretty good rep for excellent work so I just decided to trust them and order it. Ryan told me that the mani basically looks like the one on AGPs site. I'll post pics as soon as I get it. It should be another week or so.

agp uses a SFP manifold in their kits...if the rnr manifold is basically the same manifold then i might go ahead and order it then...i was really close to ordering the agp kit, but ive heard lots of people have had problems with cracking and fitment problems with the sfp manifold.

Can you name one person who's had a SFP mani crack? Stainless steel expands at twice the rate of mild steel so I would understand if you've heard of stainless manifold cracking but the SFP's don't. When we (AGP Turbo) went looking for a manifold manufacture we looked around at stainless manifolds. We couldn't find a SS manifold on a DSM that wasn't cracked multiple times. And we couldn't find a single person who had ever had a SFP manifold crack. SFP has been building manifolds for years with an almost perfect record, so we chose the best.

i dont know of anyone personally offhand that has had the manifold crack on them, but i recall hearing about several people having problems with cracks forming if the manifold isnt braced somehow. i think SFP only warranties the manifold if its braced (or at least thats what one distributer told me) im mainy refering to people from the honda crowd as their manifolds are more popular with them.

full-race built manifolds for dsm's for a little while but due to lack of demand they stopped producing them, plus they were kinda $$ compared to others but the quality was top notch..they use 8guage forged stainless, which is pretty much crack-proof.

since rnr is taking awhile on the pics and i need a setup soon...are you willing to warrenty the manifold against cracking personally?(meaning your company) rather then if i was to buy your kit and the manifold crack and have to deal with sfp. if you are willing to back up the kit then you may have a buyer. thanx

No problem. I'm so confident in these manifolds that I will give a no questions asked warranty against cracking. No brackets needed, I don't care if you jump your car like the General Lee. I don't care if you beat it with a sledge hammer, if you bought it from me it's covered. The simple fact is the SFP manifolds are as durable as the stock cast iron manifold.

Iam going to be placing a order for one of these kits very soon. Im also wondering why there is no pics of the RnR kit. I wont buy somthing unless i have seen it first. I have asked for pics of the RnR kit a few times. Everytime I was told that they will be up soon. But it has been over a month since the first time I asked.

Maybe if RnR knew that this is hurting there business they would act on this. Since it seems that its hurting there business. I like the fact that AGP is backing there stuff like that. Now if i could get some pics of the RnR kit, I could make my decision. But I will say that if there is no pics up by the time a decide to buy. Then Im going with the AGP kit.

If the vendors could chime in right here. What is the wait time on both of the kits? As for RnR. Please post pics ASAP. :thumb:

yeah i feel the same way...i sent rnr another email explaining the situation and if they dont have pics within a few days i will be ordering the agp kit.

I just cant understand:confused: Why wouldnt RnR have pics of there kit? Its been awhile since they started to offer the kit. So why would they not have pics, if it means losing business??

I would want more than pictures. Atleast with the SFP you have years of good experience. I have honda friends that have had SFP manifolds forever that have no cracked. My SFP is still in perfect shape.

Pictures aren't going to tell you anything besides if its pretty or ugly. Let someone run one for a year, and then tell you how they work. SFP has gone 9s on a DSM, they are known to be reliable and fit perfect, so why bother looking elsewhere. My guess is most of the people wanting others are just ricers who want a bling bling manifold that don't really care about going fast. If you want the bling bling, then just get the SFP coated.

Well the other mainifold has a 3 year warrenty. Plus its tig welded, and use's 6 gauges steel. Thats pretty think. But thats for you answer:rolleyes: . NExt please

i agree and disagree...you can tell more about a manifold then if its pretty or ugly from a pic..you can tell how much work they put into the manifold (which reflects quality), and by the way its designed and the collector you can tell if it will flow well.

SFP does have a good rep and they have been around awhile, but at one point they were also a newer company just like RNR..ide like to give their kit a fair shot just as people had to do when SFP first came into the market.

rnr seems like they are good guys and i dont think they are goin to be a poor quality product, but like fastrthenu has been saying i just dont understand why they dont have any pictures yet...just doesnt make sense.
