Sorry, i know this is in the wrong forum and i WILL deleate this as soon as i get at least one response, but the most posts are here and i REALLY need help.

Need help with air can hack. FAST!
I have next to no experience with cars, or tools, so here we go.

I'm doing the thing where you take the can OFF and just have the lid and the filer, but when i took the plastic arm off thats attached to the can, i saw like a pipe undernieth it that runs down inside my car.... whats that for? do i NEED to have the arm still there and just take the can off? Or do i take the arm and the can off? secondly, the arm is connected to the can by these little ring things with holes in the middle. HOW do i take these off?!?! LOL And third, the hooks that hold the lid to the can have rusted and two of them broke... what can i use to keep the filter attached to the lid, and how do i do it?

hehehehe... gotta do this before my old man gets home and i catch the beat-down.

the pipe down inside the "car" is the intercooler. You should take off all the hoses sorrounding the air can. Its easier that way. But then again I am sure sure what you mean by arm so whatever. As for the clips that hold the lid to the rest of the air canister, you should try to find replacments for them, otherwizes your air fiter might come loose, VERY BAD. But I really replied to say you should not post this question here. Hope I helped a bit.
