RRE 16g install piping???

I got my 16g install kit from RRE today. I was looking at the L-pipe and noticed a big nipple coming off of it (hard to miss). I have no clue what this would be needed for, the only thing I can come up with is that it could be used as a boost guage tap. But, since I already have my guage tapped somewhere else, it just looks like a potential boost leak to me. Any thoughts???

It functions as the boost source for whatever type of boost control you're running because the 16g has no nipple on the compressor housing.

I see. But since I spliced the line to my CBV for a boost source, I guess I will just have to plug this nipple huh.
