Any way to clean..?

Is there any good way to clean the fins in a turbo? There is a rough buildup of carbon junk on the exhaust wheel and that's gotta be bad for flow. I don't want to just hit it with a wire brush because I dont want it to go out of balance, either. Is there any sort of chemical cleaner that works? Thanks for any info!

If you want to clean it? Then i guess take the turbine housing and compressor housing off. Then hit it with a tooth brush and some throttle body cleaner. Never heard of anyone cleaning the wheels. But its worth a try i guess.

Ive seen people try brake cleaner, it only helps a little though, I personally soak the fins in K1 kerosine for a few days when i rebuild a turbo. this works very well. Obviously the turbo has to come out for this.
