Big turbo in a 1g

I am putting one of the new PTE turbo's in my car and it doesn't look like it is going to fit. The compressor outlet exits just above the front motor mount. I was wondering if anyone knew of a page that had an install of a big turbo? Probably a green or bigger or one of the SBR-g series or an L2 or L3 (non BB).
I can't clock the turbo back because of the motor mount to the engine and going forward is going to get into trouble with the fan. Thanx!

Ugg...that sucks JET. I knew the PTE's sounded too good to be true. Good luck getting that thing on there and keep us posted.

Alright, I guess this happens with any big turbo. I just ordered a 2" cast aluminum 90 degree elbow (RRE DIY page). Basically I will be doing the mod they do on some turbo's for a 2g. I will cut off the end of the outlet and weld on the elbow. This way you can keep the stock fan. Easy fix, so don't worry!

Wouldn't it be better to get a slimline fan and keep a good large radius outlet?
