hey i know all this have been answered i been searching for awhile. i got a 95 talon tsi, i want to swap a six bolt block in, wat can i use from the 2g on the six bolt block? also can i use my injen intake on the 1g block? aslso does it matter if the block comes from a gsx or gst? please help me out, wanna start working on this project. thanks guys for your time

You might as well get the entire 1g engine, not just the block. keep the throttle body elbow though from your 2g. the gst and gsx blocks are the same.

you should really look at the magnus site it will help you out alot, from the 7bolt you should keep. Starter/tranny plate, mounts, exhaust mani, throttle body elbow, o2 housing, injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, clutch, pistons(if they dont have hols in em), ic piping, and for some safety i would keep your 2g head if its complete and in good condition just incase you have a timing belt accident;) good luck with your swap im in the middle of mine right now also. i would also recomend in getting rid of the balence shafts:thumb: :dsm:
