the first one flows 1080 CFM the second flows 790 but they are different designs they say that the first has gone into the 10's but I have also heard that top to bottom isnt as good, but then you read maximum boost and it says that it is better. guess I am trying to say I am confused and need help.

this will be going on a 90 eclipse with a t3/t4 stage 4 dual ball bearing goals will be to run low 11's and then also be able to run the bottle.

I would go with the first, each one has there good and bad points, there is also a side to side fmic that works quite well from my understanding, it also depends on the design of the intercooler, bar and plate or tube and fin.By the way Syclones kick serious A$$.

I think you are right larryd the first one also says spearco on the top tank if you look real close.

both are spearcos. I think most likely I will go with the top bottom just wanted to get some real world opinions. on the syclone and typhoon you odnt have to upgrade the intercooler because its water to air and all you have to do is add more volume and fans and such to the heat exchanger. this is my first air to air.

top to bottom are generally a better ic but as someone else mentioned, there are a lot of other factors that come into play, such as the design of the core and endtanks....

if you could get the 1st one with outlets on opposite sides that would work the best.

the second one is just horrible, its built buy someone who knows how to tig weld and thats it.
