Jst curious as to how well stroker engines and FWD go together. I've been seeing alot of thread of GS-T looking forward to getting a stroker.

The way I see it, having a stroker engine may be a bad thing. FWDs already have alot trouble getting traction. And adding more torque from the engine. I'm guessing it would make it that much harder.

The other thing I noticed is that your redline is lower, and you also lose some of your top end. Isn't having a great top end good for the GS-T for highway racing and aids in the disadvantage of having no traction on the launch. Now if you add the stroker engine, won't you lose your advantage there as well.

What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are exactly what you just said. Not worth it on FWD. With the extra displacement your going to gain torque which isnt something you necesarily want to gain with FWD and youll lose the upper RPM power of the 2.0L.
