what one would you pick if it was you.i have a 1990 gsx with the basic mods.whats the flow rate of these two
 
There are a lot of different T3/T4's. You'll need to be more specific. The 20g will bolt onto a stock manifold and O2 housing. A T3/T4 requires either a new manifold or an adapter plate which tend to leak. You'll also need to pick up a new O2 housing that will fit.
 
What he meant was there are many different configurations of the T3/T4. You'll have to specify which trim you're planning on going with (what size wheels). If you're not sure, you probably should do some searches on "T3/T4" and see what we're talking about. I would suggest searching for the term "flow rates" as well to find more info.
