Well, thanks to jdmawd for the J pipe and IRC shipping my pipes, i was able to install my FMIC yesterday. All I have to say is what a PITA! Had to remove the AC lines, condenser, re-route power steering, lose the bumper, etc etc. A big pain in the ass. Worst of all, since I took the bumper out, I have no mount for my license plate bracket, which wouldn't be so bad but the bracket wore some nice rust marks into the bumper and now it looks super ghetto. I'll have to make something up.

As for performance........ SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can finally boost my car past 16psi on pump reliably. I have it turned up to 19psi and the car hauls! No knock, feels awesome. Now I can't wait to hit the track.

Big thanks to Nate at DSMotorsport for helping me with the install and getting all of my parts together for a kickass price.

BTW is that on you're first gen or second? on my first gen i kept the fogs, a/c stuff and the bumper. i found it much easier than i expected. i HIGHLY recommend a sawzall for cutting the front bumper support. it makes life much easier. i cut my bumper from the 2 inner most support bolts on either side. so now each mount has 2 bolt instead of 4 PIC's man PIC'S we need to see PIC'S:D

It was for the 1G. I'll take some pics tomorrow if I get some time. Just remember my car is a shitbox so don't expect pretty pics. Front bumper is broken on the bottom from my girlfriend jumping a curb. also, the 2 end bolts by the hweel wells that hold on the bumper snapped. They were super brittle.

I can write up an install guide when i return from vacation, although I don't think I wrote one for my 2G. Maybe, but not that I recall. i can do one for the 1G though.

As for the bumper, it looked like too much of a pain. No sawzall and no plasma cutter so I ditched it. I may cut it up to put back in on a later date, but for now it is out. Bumper dosn't sag... yet, but it looks banged up. Foglights never worked so I got rid of them too. AC was impossible to keep because all the lines ran through the holes the pipes had to be in so that was cut out.

I may make some temp holes in the original space for the license plate, just to cover up the mess. Hopefully I can get that bumper cut up, but it isn't a high priority. I'd like it to look nice, but I mainly want it to haul a$$!

Well my camera is broken so the pics will have to ait until I return from vacation.

I did manage to drill 2 holes in the front and mount the license plate frame in the stock location. Looks good again. I'll get some pics up when I return from vacation.

Wildwood, NJ.

We are leaving around 3AM to miss traffic, and hit Atlantic City for an hour or so. Should roll into Wildwood around 8 or 9.... just in time for the Fireman's Tavern to open!!! Wooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Wildwood is nice and quiet. Not too many kids. A little older crowd. All we really do is eat and drink and sleep. Maybe some cards or TV in between. And if the woman wants to go do something we got the boardwalk a couple blocks down and Cape May about 15 moinutes away. Been going down every year for the 4th of July for the past 6 years now.

Nah, Wildwood ain't bad at all. Seaside and Pt Pleasant is where all the kids are at... unless things have shifted... again. Never been to OC. May have to put that on my lost of placed to check out.

I am in Denville, NJ. In the Morristown area.
