super 16g turbo????

I was at some races when a guy went up to me and asked what i have done to my car i told him it was stock(vettekiller talon got wrecked, had to start over) so he asked me if i wanted to buy a super 16g turbo for $400 it such a good deal its hard to pass by but should i get it even though i only have a boost guage and boost control

the super 16g directly from Forced Performance is 645 brand new if that tells you anything..

really? I thought HRC was the only co. that made a "Super" 16g. If its the HRC Super 16g, it requires a kit which includes 2 adapter plates and an o2 pipe. Highly recommend porting your exh. mani to match the square housing and use gaskets for both sides of each adapter plate (HRC says you don't have to but trust me, you do). Enjoy

Ok, I didn't see that on their website. Does that turbo require an install kit? Anyway, for the price it doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. But just make sure the turbo is in good condition. You don't want to inherit(sp?) other peoples problems. Peace

ya know whats wierd is when I go to their site to try and find it I cant find it but I did a search on yahoo for super 16g and FP was one of the links which is where i got that info

I just got a big 16g from FP for $600. But the "big' 16g and the "super" 16g are two very different turbos. The super 16g is sold through HRC and is kind of expensive for what you get.
