the way i always didit was leave the car running and listen for the leak.

worke for me
 
Just "listening" for a leak wont work, unless u have super sonic hearing.
U have to pressureize the intake track to really check for leaks.


Chck out vfaq and make a intake leak tester, very easy to do. :thumb:

are we talking about a vacuum leak or a boost leak? Because every vacuum leak I had I found by "listening" in the engine bay with the car at idle. Boost leaks are another story, in that case definetly check out the vfaq for the intake leak tester
