when I turn on my car first thing in the morning or anytime of the day as long as the car is cold everything is fine. My engine will idle where its supposed to.

Now, after my car gets warm (anything longer than a good 20min drive) my idle will stay anywhere between 1000 and 1200 RPM's! Why the hell is my car idling so high after it gets warmed up?

Any thoughts?

I already did that. It corrected it for awhile and now its back to where its at.

I even reset my ECU and that only provided a temporary solution.

Any other suggestions?

Check the throttle cables to make sure there is enough slack in them. Somehow when the engine bay warms up the cable housing expands more than the cable, tightening it slightly.
