I have been looking into FMICs and i had a few questions. First, what FMICs are there that can keep the stock fog lights(95-96). Also, I am planning on running a big28 turbo, but then i will go to something bigger like a green or a l2r, would the FMICs be too small for the larger turbo at around 20+psi? I only know of the Greddy smaller FMIC fitting with the stock fog lights. Would an l2r or green flow too much air for the front mount to be efficient when i upgrade? I guess I am looking for a FMIC that would be able to work well with the big28 and a green/l2r. I hope this makes sense, Thanks.

My eclispe is 97 2 GEN. I have Apex'i intercooler and I still get to keep my fog light. It's bigger than the smaller Greddy intecooler.

It matters on what FMIC. I know on the 95-96 eclipses if you get a big one like greddy type 24r you need to remove them.. Most all intercoolerkits for 97-99 you can keep your stock headlights due to the room of that front bumper.. But most likely on all kits....You need to remove the foglights..:thumb:

Would you know if the smaller GReddy FMIC would be efficient with an l2r/green at 22+ psi?

No it will not be efficient. I had a small Greddy with my frank2..it did not flow enough air. Trust me, you do not want to try that combo. Your timing will pull and you might be susceptible to knock as well. I suggest going with the big greddy front mount.

One of my buddies has a 95 Tsi AWD and has the DSM Performance (Extreme Turbo) FMIC kit and still has the stock foglights in place. That intercooler flows 1250cfm too so I wouldn't worry about it being too small. I also had that same FMIC setup on my last car, 1997 Tsi AWD and also was able to keep the stock foglights.

Here's the 95:
