Since I've seen the turbo Mirages and Colts I got to thinking, maybe that 92 Hyundai Excel 5-speed that is just sitting down the street collecting pine needles with its '99 tags could be a transplant victim. I read up a bit and a few places sort of implied that the motor from a turbo Colt/Mirage may swap in. I believe that motor is a 4G61T or something close. What I'd like to do is swap that motor in hopes that the stock tranny will match up. The car weighs 2200lbs stock and with a ported 14b on a 1.6 I have a feeling 200 whp would not be a problem. Would be kinda fun to play with on the freeway, anyone know if this is possible?

You know I had a hunch that'd work :) Kickass! What kind of power will those trannies take? Clutch? Suggestions? You got a site or some people who might be able to help me along the way Leon or Geovannie?
