timing belt

i'm doing my timing belt soon
i was wondering what else would be wise to do at the same time i know this has been asked before but a searched and couldn't find it
1 last question are 1g manual cams an upgrade for 2g and how hard to install because i'm powder coating my valve cover
how about cam gears?
i'm going for a 2.5 full exhaust, 14b ported (for now) and the basic bolt ons

Timing belt, balance shaft belt, new tenshioner, at the least. Lots of people do the water pump at the same time too.

Do everything while you are in there, cause if you don't replace it now you will next week. And you don't wanna be doing it next week

Doing a head gasket would be stupid IMO. He has a 96 dont mess with the headgasket unless it is broken.

I would do the balance shaft elemination kit, and if your car has over 100,000 miles I would do the water pump.

balance elimination is too hard to do with the engine in
