Exhaust?1

Im looking at exhaust systems and I really like the N1 tip but I want a full exhaust system that gives performance and sounds good! Any suggestions?

They all will give you performance and sound good. If you like the N1 then get it. Alot of DSMers including myself run it and are very happy with it.

I paid 600 hundred and some change...definitely a great sounding exhaust...i gotta go with the guys who build 1,000 hp Skylines, i think they know what they are doing

My tsi is pretty much stock and is probably going to stay that way for awhile. Should I get the front pipe or just go cat back?

Well if money is an issue, just go cat-back...but if u plan on upgrading, even in the distant future, and your wallet permits, go with the whole N1 system. The N1 Downpipe eliminates your catalytic converter, and then that will bolt right up to your N1 exhaust....nasty setup......

What am i looking at performance wise? Catback compared to full!

Well, a cat-back will yield about 10-15 hp, give or take a few. A full exhaust, preferable 3-inch, give's a hell of alot more . a downpipe, depending on diameter, really free's up gases and increases spool time and i would say about 10 more hp....throw in a test pipe for another 5 hp and you will most likely score a 25 hp increase over stock, and depending on setup, could be more than that........

PS-Full exhaust sounds d@mn good too, compared to just a catback.....hey, if you can afford it, Do It Up!!!!
