Anyone know anything about this BOV? " JDM TURBO Racing Blow Off Valve BOV !!"

16 PSI is plenty for me (see sig) at the moment. These things are all over eBay, I'm just seeing if anyone has actually used it.

"This product is straight from the OEM manufacturer in Asia. We are still trying to get info on it. This product is being sold under other US brand name.

It's cheap because you are not paying for the brand name (like APC, autometer etc.) and we buy them straight from the manufacturer. It's is very functional. We are an importer of auto perfromance products and accessories. We are a wholesaler. We have a lot of customers say good thing about it (most of them are race car drivers!)

Looking for a little more information on the BOV?

Have a website with more indepth information on it, customer reviews?

Sounds fishy for the price, but I hope it's legit because cheap and functional is good.

What happens if it comes off and put a dent on your hood?
What if it falls apart and something get sucked into the engine?

Just that it's new from Asia doesn't mean it's good. They are coming out with knock off wastegates, BOVs pretty fast these days, buyers please beware.

It looks like this thing is made for very light duty, not made to flow alot of air, not made to hold alot of boost.

For $50 a used 1G BOV will work better.

I was just seeing if it any knows for a fact whether it's a legit product or not, not just hypothetical answers. Is anyone running this on their car? Did you have any problem? Etc, that's what I want to hear.

Sam

Well, while that's good advice, the guy has clearly stated numerous times he only wants to hear from people with first hand experience. The rest of us should just shut up (or spool up). :D

i dont think its worth it for dsm drivers but for lilk vw's with turbo kits it should be nice to have for that price

A company I deal with that has lots of parts made in Taiwan was offered to import those BOV's. They are produced for less than $15 and are built with very poor quality. Some stuff from taiwan is very high quality but like anywhere else you get what you pay for. Polishing and chroming is VERY cheap there so don't let that lead you to believe it's better than it is.

Their crap, don't even waste your time.
