Got this exhaust manifold on ebay. not for mitsu, t3, evo, or t3. idk what it goes on

my friend won this manifold off ebay for $20. then he gave it to me. im going to convert it to a t3. I cut out the 2 end bolt holes on the flange that bolts to the head and it works for my dsm perfectly. Anyone seen anything like it?

I beleive "D" series honda motors have an almost similar bolt hole layout as a dsm. Just make sure the header pipes still match the head. Or maybe it was built for a dsm but during the machining process just measured a bit to short.
 
It looks alot like the sr20 manifold with a t25 turbo but there exhaust side is a different flange.. Im just going with the first thing that popped into my head. MY buddy had a sr20 swapped 240 and the mani looks just like that..
 
I have one exactly like that sitting in the garage. I got mine for $.11 (yes that's 11 cents) shipped to the door. :hellyeah: It was listed as having a gt-42 turbo flange, although I have no idea what that is. :confused: It looks to have the same bolt pattern as a evo 4-9 turbo, but with a t3 outlet, although I have not been able to confirm that it's the exact same bolt pattern as I don't have an evo turbo here. It also would not work with a 1g car because it locates the turbo to the left and is directly above the front motor mount. It should work with a 2g with a new flange on it though. Mine looks to be decently built with thick flanges. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, it was a last second impulse buy off ebay. ROFL

i wonder who is giving these away? and i wouldnt say it wont work there is always a way to make it work. It kicks out the flange mounting to the turbo a little and looks like it will angle it forward a bit. It would definately give a lot of room for an exhaust system off the turbo. I wish i had an external wastegate for it.

The outside bolt holes on the head flange didn't fit mine either and I have tried to find out what turbo flange it is without luck. I think one of the china companies messed up a run of production or something for the company selling them and that's why they have been giving these away.

they would have been better off selling them for scap metal.

I brought the same manifold and also was wondering what flange that turbo was when to alot of shops and posted it.. I also plan on using with my Holset. I got an estimate on how much to cut off and weld a new flange it was around 180. I guess that wouldn't be bad being the fact I only spent 30 bucks and 20 shipping. Mine fits the head nicely, has big exhaust ports, it also clears the block with the stock Holset housing. It puts the turbo infront of the tranny. However im going to weld a T3 divided flange onto it than porting it out so everything lines up than tap holes and bolt it up. I may be using an Exhaust flange spacer just for extra room. Ill post pics when its complete. The waste gate flange is a 40 mm or 46mm?

Which exhaust flange are you talking about? If you put it too low, won't it hit a 1g's crossmember?

What do you mean there is a flange that is on the turbo that no one can figure out. This manifold puts the Holset right in front of the lower radiator pipe there enough space. However I might have to drill a hole on the side of the front motor mount to kinda run the oil drain thru there to the pan so its gonna be on a slight angle but should work. Im gonna be to be welding a t3 undivided flange because I just notice 1 and 2 runners are on one side of the divided manifold. For our car a divided manifold is suppose to be 1 and 4 together and 2 and 3. So im going to be cutting the divided part off and welding t3 flange than port it out. If I dont go this option guess it will be st8 bolt on turbine housing.
 
Update Got it to work with the spacer
I cut off the 40mm flange and put a 38mm.
I cut out the divider grinded about 1/2 lip out that was restricting the ports from free flowing into the turbine housing so they now flow more than perfectly inside the turbine housing.
I semi ported out the turbine housing.
I ported the manifold outlet to match a t3/t4 inlet
Tapped 3 holes to match t3/t4 flange
Im using 1 45* and one Straight -10an Fittings
Was feeding from the OFH with a -4an .075 Restrictor, but the line got destroyed by touching the alternator.
So now im running a -4an Off the Head

So far got it to 11.1 AFR 16psi seeing 39lbs feels okay but not really like the slow spool from stock housing but from what i see the 70 A/R doesnt spool that much sooner..
