I got a Big 16G and was wondering if I could use four bolts from the exhaust manifold to turbo instead of 3 bolts and a stud. Also on the oil and water lines do the holes in the bolts have to line up with the feed tubes or does it not matter? Thanks

Yes you can replace the stud with a bolt and its actually recomended as it makes removing just the turbo without the manifold easier. If you look at the bolts the holes are going to allow flow no matter what position. Just make sure everything is tight. My oil feed line wasnt tight enough and leaked so I had to remove the exhaust manifold again to tighten it up. Good luck

Note that if you replace the stud with a bolt, make sure that you check the bolts every couple hundred miles for at least a thousand miles after you do the swap, as the bolts like to back out and drop your turbo on the road.

Passing on a tip; torque to 44ftlb, then run the car 'till warm and retorque to 50ftlb. Be careful, since the manifold will be hot.
