Are there any problems with the o2 eliminator DP? Why would there be an O2 Sensor Housing in the first place if Mitsubishi could have saved the money by not including this extra part. Will I get a CEL or bad results in emissions or something like that. I really am leaning towards getting the o2 eliminator DP because after reading the threads it seems to solve a lot of problems. I just want to know the disadvantages. Thanks.

You have the idea wrong.

It doesn't elimate to O2 housing completely. It just incorporates it into one big 3inch DP instead of 2 seperate parts.

It still has a spot for the O2 sensor and will not trip the CEL.

Just to clarify, it has a spot for the O2 sensor, and will NOT throw a CEL if you put the O2 sensor in it.

John's a really great knowledgeable guy, but sometimes his typing needs a little QA. ;)

If you have an external wastegate you will need that. If your turbo has an internal gate then no.

Are you getting an external dump or and internal dump on the DP?

Ok if your getting an internal dump you don't need that 30.00 add on.
