Would it be an alright idea to just go ahead and buy a used Supra TT fuel pump for less money or is it not worth saving the cash and better to go for a new one?

Well I can get a used one for roughly 100 dollars, I would be buying it from a shop that specializes in Toyota Supras but I'm not sure how used they are; I supose I could call the owner and ask if he knows how old they are though

If you're set on a Supra pump, $100 is pretty good. Just remember that you're going to need to use an AFPR with that pump because you'll outflow the stock one and run way too rich.

thanks for the advice and thanks for the links guys, I'll probly go with the new walbro 255 pump from import evolution. peace :dsm:

why exactly would I need an AFPR for that pump, can the stock regulater not handle that fuel pump?

If you're talking about the 255HP, then yes, that is correct. That pump will outflow the stock regulator. Opinions are divided over whether the regular 255 requires an AFPR, but the 255HP definitely needs one.

o alright, thanks doug much appreciated :thumb:

Mind you the reason alot of people go with the Supra pump over the Walbro is because of the noise factor. The walbro 255 is more commonly known as the whinebro. The supra pump is quiet as stock.
