Blitz DC series gauges (EGT)

I've been pondering through the websites and even wrote them an e-mail concerning Blitz's DC series temp gauge. I was wondering if the unit could be setup to read EGT rather than oil pressure. So far no answers and the have a temp sensor, but I'm no sure if it'll survive in the manifold's environment. Anyone got the inside scoop on this?

Yeah that temp sensor will not survive the exhaust manifold temp.s you have to use the egt probe that comes with egt gauges. The temp sensor is for like water and oil etc.

EGT's can go as high as 1400F way higher than any water or oil temp gauge.

That's what I thought, but for some strange reason Blitz doesn't make any EGT gauges. Only their US counterpart Greddy does. Blitz gauges are in Celcius whick means 1600F = 871C. Think I can modify a egt probe to work with the DC Temp gauge? Maybe Japan knows something we dont? They must tunr to water pressure :laugh:

Blitz does make EGT , i just got mine...
