..venting to atmos. (sounds like a laser gun venting back into intake)

I even tried removing one of the inner spring to get rid of the high pitched whistle/squeak and it just made the car stall even with the screw tightened all the way down.

I'm boosting 15psi on a Big 16g and I guess these suckers just start to squeak/whistle after so much boost.

I prefer the air swoosh sound versus the laser gun sound..

What the hell are you talking about? Why remove any springs for sound... that is the dumbest thing ever. Leave it how it is, Greddy makes nice bov's and they shoudl be tampered with unless you want poor performance. Hook up your damn recirc and deal with it because each BOV has its own distinct sound. Want something else? Buy a new one...

If you want to get rid of the laser sound just tighten the top screw so that the BOV is only able to open a small amount. If that causes surge take out one of the springs. Problem solved. :thumb:
