after taking out the stock boost control solonoid, it gave me a check engine light (forgot the code for it but it was for the boost control solonoid malfunction), i cleared the CEL with the datalogger.

Has anyone else got this problem? For those of you who has removed the stock boost control solonoid, does it give you the CEL even after clearing the CEL once?

Thanks in advance

Yes, i'm using a MBC, might change to EBC later though...

Did you take out your BCS? and do you get CEL for it?

Are you using a MBC?

Just leave the BCS in the car, plugged in. Just disconnect the vaccuum hose's or course.

The 2G ECU will throw a CEL if you disconnect the solenoid from the ECU. Just leave the wiring plugged in and go worry about something else.

Thanks for the helpful reply
