Evo Throttle body with DSM Tps?

Ive never compared one side by side, but is the tps sensor on a 1g throttle body the same as on the evo?

evo8 no.
evo1-3 yes.
evo4 would have to check, I think it is still like 1-3 style.

I always thought they both used the same flange. Plug and play with which tps sensor?

it should work as everything is the same. they are the same size as a 1g, so unless you have a stock 2g your not gaining anything. and 1g's are cheaper. If on a 2g manifold you will have to port match the inlet of the manifold to the tb.

NO IT WILL NOT WORK. Geez, don't just assume people. I have had both side by side and the bolt pattern for them is different, however the pin out is the same. You can plug a evo tps sensor into a dsm pigtail no problem but bolting it up will not work.
You would need some very small type of cnc machined piece to make it work, the center part is different and the bolting is wider on one of the tps sensors.
And also, the only reason you would use an evo8/9 tps is if you put on a evo tb or a boomba racing tb.

This is wrong.

An evo1-3 TPS is the same as a 2g TPS which is not the same as a 1g TPS.

they are interchangable though. It should bolt on. the difference is that the throttle stop switch is intergrated on the 2g and by itself on the 1g. either way they are all interchangable.

1g TPSs are 3wire 2g/evo1-3 are 4 wire. They are not interchangeable.

I might just go with a 1g non-turbo throttle body. I hate the flange on the 1g turbo tb and want to use a silicone coupler. Plus anything associated with an "evo" is like 4 times the price of what it should be. Do those mil-spec seals work with the dsm throttle bodys, or are the shaft diameters different?
