Limits of a stock exhaust manifold?

I can't find anywhere about the limits of a stock 2g exhaust manifold. The reason I ask is because I was wondering if I was shooting myself in the foot since I'm trying to hit 10's on my setup, with a stock manifold.

What's the fastest anyone has gone on a stock manifold? Is there any flow limits on the dsm-flange?

Yes you can do 10s on a stock 2g (ported) mani, yes, there are flow limitations, and you will be approaching them at that point. Not really sure what the fastest stock manifold car is, but the design of the stock mitsubishi steup is pretty much exhausted on anything much larger than a GT35 in a bolt on housing, IMHO,
 
Thanks for the reply. How do you know that the 2g Mani will be approaching the lite by then? Is it the manifold that's the restriction, or the mitsu-style flange?

Does anyone know/ have specs for the mitsu flanges and what they can support?
 
Im positive I have heard of stock exhaust manifolds going 10's. Infact I think they have even gone 9's. Just make sure it is ported good and you should be fine.

What do you have for a setup?
 
Mods are up to date in my profile, but here's a quick rundown of the bigger parts:

2.3 7 bolt
OEM crank, ACL race, Scat/ Wiseco 9:1, OEM headgasket, ARP headstuds
ECMlink V3
Built auto, TCU chipped, 2 flexplates
JMF SMIM race for 1g head
Apexi Skyline IC
BC springs, 3g lifters, BC 280 cams
Holset H1E (HX-40) bolt-on, 38mm wastegate, 3" turboback
Rewired 255hp pump, stock lines until -6 after the filter, -6 fuel rail, Fuelab FPR

Shooting for high 10's on E-85 on a stock ported 2g manifold.
