also would i need anything else for this kit and is it ok to mount it inside the car as opposed to under the hood or is it better under the hood.

IT looks to be fine, but this statement gets to me:

It is recommended but not necessary to have an aftermarket boost guage installed

Its people like this that make people F-up their engines because it says you dont NEED a aftermarket boost gauge. YES YOU DO.

i agree with 98TsiAWD, it is maditory to have a boost guage, i used to have that boost controller, and without a boost guage, bad things WILL happen (knock on wood). and just to be safe, why not spend the extra 50 bucks for a guage?

just my 2 cents !!

I'm getting an autometer boost gauge for Valentines day......my girl ROCKS! She called up mitsu and talked to my boy who works there. I thought that was great, since she knows nothing about cars.

Maybe the rest of these guys are missing the point, but how the h3ll are you going to *lower* the boost, with a MBC?

Having it hooked up like stock will give you the lowest possible boost level, you should really just run a vacuum line direct from a boost source to the WG, if you're getting boost levels like that.

Also, don't mount it in the car if you do buy it, boost response will suffer.
