Yeah I saw that listing. I was wondering if there had been a better time that may have not been submitted to DSMtimes.

I'm not trying to start with you, but I didn't ask about a Green. I know it's run 10's, but I'm asking about a Garrett. I'm hoping to get more out of the Garrett, and am curious what people have gone with it. Specifically what the fastest car has run with it.

Yes I know what size the Green wheel is, but it has a different exhaust housing. I don't recall off hand the area to ratio of a Green, but I hope to see more horsepower and better top end with the Garrett. Does anyone know the trim of a stage 3 garrett turbine or that of a Green?

Both rich and breaker from DSM motorsports have ran 11.0s on 50 trim stage 3s. My college student no one special street car ran [email protected] today in the rain, with a 1.90 60' with a AGP 50 trim kit.

Where did you run in the rain? Yes gotta love the stock motors.... I used to run 24psi on my 140k motor:D

SIR.

Was fun. Couldn't floor it in 1st without spinning all over. The thing is, my 1/8th MPH was WAY WAY low for normal, but 1/4 was up. I couldn't hook up till 1/2 way through 2nd, then it would start pulling. If I could get traction in 1st, I GUARANTEE 124-125mph easy.

I assume that is in Tucsom somewhere eh? never been there...
That is very impressive though, no cams or anything?

I think the 50trim record is about 125mph on stock cams, and Rich ran 128mph or so with ported head, sheet intake and 272s. Curt and Nate Crisman ran 125mph on stock cams with a 50trim turbo. Nate had the true Garrett with a stgIII .63a/r hotside, and Curt had a TD06 turbine'd Green in a 7cm housing.

So 125-128mph depending on mods is the kind of power you will make. As far as E.T., that is up to the driver.

There are two 50trim equipped turbo'd DSMs in my town. Both run very well. My personal car goes [email protected] on pumpgas and stock cams/head/intake/bottom end with a 50trim turbo. No traction here at our shitty track. Can't go wrong with a 50trim!

That's impressive. My friend Dave ran an 11.6 at Englishtown last season with a Green and quite a few other parts. 9:1 pistons and WEBB cams, as well as a VPC. He ran that on pump gas at about 18 psi.
I don't regret the 50 trim Garrett turbo on it's way here, but I'm not sure if it will fall short of a Green. Not in terms of spool, but top end and horsepower. If anyone knows a bit about the specifics and numbers of those turbos, or where I could find them, I'm interested in the differences between the exhaust wheels and housings of either turbo.

Haha. Wow you must be from DSMtalk. To say that I didn't know what size a Green compressor wheel was made me giggle like a little girl. Your engine is "not stock" ? Right. About the only thing you'll tell anyone is that you're from Mass. so I'm going to assume you'll be at the DSM Shootout at Englishtown in April. If so, I'd be more than happy to give you a run for your money. ?
